Case Study: TUMI Electric Bus Mission with WRI Indonesia

The brief was not to promote an organisation but to explain a transition: why electric buses matter for Indonesian cities, what the mission set out to prove, and who is affected by the outcome. It required combining technical subject matter, policy context, and human story in a form that worked for an international audience.

Working in the Field

Institutional production usually means filming outside comfortable locations: project sites, ports, rural communities, factories, and facilities with their own access rules. That changes what matters. Permits and facility access are planned weeks ahead rather than days. Crews are kept small enough to move and to avoid overwhelming the people being filmed. Equipment is chosen for reliability in heat, dust, and humidity rather than for maximum specification. And schedules carry realistic contingency, because weather and access rarely cooperate on the first attempt.

We are based in Jakarta and produce across Indonesia, including Java, Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi.

Ethics and Consent

We use written consent for identifiable participants, brief crews on respectful filming practice, and follow whatever safeguarding policy your organisation applies. Where someone should not be identifiable, we plan the shot that way rather than solve it afterwards in editing. If your organisation has its own consent forms and communication guidelines, we work to those instead of our own.

Procurement and Tenders

We are registered on UNGM and respond to tenders from international organisations and public bodies. We can supply company documentation, past performance references, crew and equipment lists, and the technical annexes procurement processes typically require.
